Palais De Papes (Palace of the Popes in Avignon)Ohh laa laa! ..... The south of France is all it is cracked up to be and then some! Absolutely stunning!
We have stopped in Avignon (1 night) which is a cute quaint little township and very french....
From there we moved on to Nice (which is very very nice!) lol We spent a lovely evening in Monaco ..... and mingled with high society! Lots and lots of money there! (as you can see from the photos!) I think it must be compulsory to own a megayacht and a ferrari to be a resident! Also very expensive ($5.80 euro for a glass of soft drink!).
Oh to be rich!
Ok ... Back to reality! And now off to Italy!
