Kathleen with a 'medium' sized gelati ... The large size was 1 litre! I want to know who the hell can eat a litre of Gelati?? (especially before it melts off your cone in the sun, like kathleen's did!) lol

A replica of Michelangelo's David (flashing his bits all around town!) .... we did get to see the real one at the Accademia but were not allowed to photograph him! It was enormous! (no not that!) lol
ABC = Another bloody church! I think I am doing well at the moment I have seen so many and have not been struck by lightning once! lol The facade on this one is marble!
One of the doors on the above church ...so detailed! The designer of the door dedicated 20 years of his life to completing this door alone! (he obviously didnt get out much!)I am buggered! After another mammoth day of sightseeing, Lots of walking, looking, photographing and trying to speak italian! After almost mastering hello, thank you and do you speak english? in French it is time to move on! lol
Florence is full of lovely old buildings and about 150 million souvenirs of David and his willy! Also well known for quality leather goods .... I did not find anything that took my fancy so am currently 'leatherless'! .... Maybe I will find something in Rome or Venice (looking at handbags and jackets).
Tomorrow we bid farewell to Florence and head to Rome for 3 nights! Woo Hoo! :-)
