The "Pearl" restaurant at our hotel in London where we have enjoyed breakfast for the last 3 days... strands of pearls everywhere, it was very pretty!

Henry VIII (thats Henry the eighth)...This is his actual battle armour from the 1500's!! .... Check out the package! lol They claim it was to intimidate others during battle ..... I think it is the 20th century version of a man with a little package driving a Ferrari.

Yesterday Kathleen checked the weather forecast prior to our day of sightseeing and we were excited about the prospect of reaching 20c here (which I can assure you would be bloody near a heatwave!) .... Now Im not sure what forecast she was checking (I guessed Barbados) ..... but what we encountered was in fact side ways sleet and I am sure I saw snow drops when we were in the London Eye!! Boy It is chilly!!
Now other than the weather not being very 'summery' ....London is absolutely lovely!! Everyone is super friendly (even the cab drivers .... not that I am comparing them to Melbourne cab drivers of course!) ;-) And we are having a great time! And have seen a lot, and enjoyed every minute! The buildings and history are amazing here and it is like living a real life monopoly game!! .... Every where we look we seem to find another monopoly site .... have seen Mayfair, The Strand, Trafalgar Square, Regent Street, Oxford Street, Park lane, Fleet Street, Picadilly Circus etc..... If only I could purchase them with monopoly money!!
Tomorrow we are off to Paris ... Will update at the end of our time there! Love to all xx
